Somalia radio station owner murdered

The managing director of a private Somali radio station has been killed.
Hassan Osman Abdi, was stopped in front of his home by armed men before being pistol whipped and shot.
Mr Abdi was the managing director of Radio Shabelle.
He had been at the station on Saturday and had just left the office.
After the gunmen shot him several times in the head, Abdi was transported to hospital but was dead on arrival.
The al-Shabab militant group has been blamed for the terrorist attack.
Radio Shabelle later interrupted its programs to read verses from the Koran in honour of the slain 29-year-old managing director, who was the father of three children.
In Somalia, Abdi was popularly known as Hassan Fantastic.
